How to Hide Cables Under Your Desk (Without Redoing Your Whole Setup)

If your desk looks great from the front but turns into a tangle of cords the second you look underneath, you're not alone - and the fix doesn't have to mean buying a whole new setup.

Start with what's actually creating the mess

Most desk clutter isn't the cords themselves - it's chargers and cables with nowhere specific to live. Before you buy anything, unplug everything and sort it into two piles: cables you use daily (keep within reach) and everything else (a drawer, not the desktop). That alone solves half the problem.

Route cords along the desk, not across the floor

Cords that run loose across the floor or dangle off the back of the desk are what make a setup look messy, even when it's technically "organized."
